HAF Block Explorer's own /transaction-statistics endpoint (api.syncad.com) publishes a daily trx_count series back to Steem genesis (2016-03-25), free and keyless — the aggregate the research pass looked for and did not find. Its newest row is the still-forming current day; the row immediately before it is the last complete UTC day, read by fixed array index rather than by date. Every row's own `date` field is the END of the period it covers, not the start, confirmed against the HAF explorer's own SQL — see Warnings before touching range or the date field.
